The main avenue, leading to the morning market, was busy each day of the week with bustling indigenous Indians, selling and trading their wares.  The market was filled with tantalizing foods, fantastic flowers, aromatic candles and mysterious herbs.  Seen from the market, this breath taking view of the old Santo Domingo church, inspired this painting.
